This is a fully automated ultrasonic solvent cleaning machine, employing both ultrasonic frequency and solvent in the cleaning process. It handles flexible circuits from 30mm to 380mm in width, degreases and cleans foreign materials of 1 micron or larger, and allows concurrently cleaning of up to 3 webs. Ultrasonic frequency used is selectable to meet different cleaning requirements with on-line monitoring of the frequency. More than 85% of the solvent can be recovered, thus minimising waste. Continuous on-line web alignment and tension monitoring prevents damage to the web and telescopic effect at the return reel.
